I was doing some optimizing of visuals through nvidia control panel as well as in game. I enabled “optional GPU features” and noticed a weird bug where certain spots in textures showed extremely pixelated. I have a pretty good system and it was a shock that it looked so bad. I tried Turning “Projected Textures” off and played with “Texture Resolution” a little bit as well. Both had no change. Turning off “Optional GPU features” solved this and I am no longer experiencing weird pixelated rocks or walkways/grass. This was on TBC Anni server mostly but did notice it affected classic era as well. Hope this helps.
