Visitor question!

I can’t find a clear answer anywhere, so I’ll shoot my shot here.

Can someone that’s not on my BNET friends list, be able to visit my home? I’ve looked at recent allies, etc. No option to visit them, or them to visit my home either. Does being in a party allow them to visit my plot? Sorry for the moderately basic/silly question. I simply do not want to have a bunch of people added to my list just in case they’re curious about my silly cottage. Hope everyone is having a blast!

In addition to your friends list, I know that if you’re in a guild, you can visit anyone’s house in the guild.

I think party/raid members would be able to do that too, but I haven’t tried to verify that in-game.

Only Friends (BNet), Party, or Guild Member can visit in your absence if set to Private (no Public walkins), but if you set it to Public so ANYONE can enter, you just need to tell that person which neighborhood and which plot is yours.

Ah, this was what I was looking for. I’m not in a guild or anything of the sort. I didn’t know we could search by neighborhood either, that’s pretty neat!

Edit: Not looking like I can search specifically by neighborhood. So, I’m still at a loss. My house is open to the public, so I’m hoping that it will make tiny gatherings possible without needlessly flooding my friend list.

They cannot search by neighborhood. What they have to do if they are not a friend, guild mate, or party member is have the info, and then use the Housing Finder in the home menu to “look for new houses” until they see your neighborhood name. Then click any plot on the finder map to travel there. Then locate your plot and walk in. Just easier to add them as a friend

Yes they have to be in party with you and you log in to join you at your house, all they have to do is right click their name while in group and it will ask if you want to visit your party member house…
