Visiting Oribos as a normal citizen is now allowed/canon *recent NPCs have arrived.*

So recently, around this week. Some familiar citizens have been coming to oribos, and are now chilling around and can have some lovely coversations with. To say some…

Griftah, the amulet vendor. “Dese brokers be offering all kinds of things to us “mortals.” and I be tryin ta find out just what dose tings be…Maybe ol Griftah be finding some new amulets ta sell.”

Ol’Emma: Oh hello. You look like you know your way around these parts. Have you seen my son, jem jack, and jake? They should be here somewhere. I’m not leaving until I find my boys. I won’t lose them again!

Philia: Please don’t tell Emma about the maw. I… I don’t think her heart could take it…

Bonus points

Admiral Taylor: To think I was less than a year away from earning my helmet…

The peasants have arrived? They are not Maw Walkers!

Do you have any evidence of these? I haven’t seen anyone mention Admiral Taylor being in Oribos.

Admiral Taylor can be found on the outskirts of Oribos, looking over the edge.

I so wish I could go see but I’m in the middle of a TC.

How cute! I will say hi.

For exact location, he should be on the opposite side of oribos where Thaurassian/Koil are.

They don’t need to be, there’s a stable portal right in Oribos to Orgrimmar and Stormwind.

Had this conversation last week. The portals are a gameplay feature, not canon. Or so I was told.

Ya but some people kept arguing “Well there’s no citizens so it doesn’t count.” So this is 100% confirmation, and to say I did this in some form of spite is eheh…Part of it.

Just wait until Nessingwary shows up wanting 600 butterfly wings and 421 Maldraxxus femurs

Be sure to stop by the Oribos gift shop on your way out! No vacation to the afterlife is complete without a souvenir.

Brokers are great with tourist ya know!?

It was the case in WoD, mages like Khadgar could only open portals for a very short time, and the effort to form a stable link backfired catastrophically because the best site the Kirin Tor could find was in Cordyceps Hell.

In SL it was assumed, but seemingly not the case since Taelia and Calia arrived and some of the Covenant Campaigns require us to hop back to Azeroth for some errands. (I think Night Fae have gone back to Azeroth 3 times by this point)

It seems to be that it’s stable canonically now, although I do find that a bit stupid. Then again, there is a giant gaping hole in the sky, so maybe that’s just how we’re able to ‘get some reception’ way off in the realms of the dead.

Either way, for better or worse it shoots a hole into the idea of a time-skip happening.

Remember, we beat a burning legion with space ships, at this point. Let’s enjoy everything WOO!

I found Sunwalker Dezco on the outer ring as well.

It’s so weird to see mortals around though, like Calia and Talia just randomly chilling around. Shadowlands really took away the mystique of WoW’s afterlife.

Brokers would beg to differ! They see living mortals, they see profit! Sure sure, getting to other afterlives may be troublesome. But a perfect place to set up for tourist to buy all their merchandise!? A profiteer paradise!
