Unlocked this essence and raided with it equipt. It did not proc once. Bug for Prot or am i missing something?
I unlocked it and in my testing (over about 20 minutes) it procced 4-5 times.
I’ll say though, that it is the CD reduction bit that is so nice. I was exiting avatar and re-entering it only about 10 seconds later.
Managed a 62% uptime. Pretty sick.
Thx for the confirmation so it is very likely that it procs so rarely i may never see it.
I will need to find a new major essence so i can slot that into the minor when i hit 55.

It procs during avatar a fair amount, it will extend its duration and the duration of Bastion of Might by 7 seconds but it can be easy to miss if you’re not tracking your Avatar duration closely
It’s proc rate is less then one proc per minute according to WoWhead.
