Through cloak level 12, I have been able to slog my way through these. Now I have to locate and close 5 portals… with leaden foot…thanks Mr. Blizzard 
My issue is locating the portals. I understand that they are supposed to show up on my minimap. They do not.
I use the standard issue maps. Do I need another addon to show me where the portals are located?
Close 5 portals is the mage quarter objective. It will show up on your map if you’re in the zone and close enough to one. Technically you don’t have to do it. You could just run old town 4 times.
Running both in one vision will definitely be the quickest way to progress though.

Leaden foot only happens when you’re in combat anyways. At the point of you get to closing the portals, the majority, if not all of the trash should be gone as you have to defeat that area’s boss before they show up. The portals also show up in the same exact spots each time you run it.

Ok so.
Enter the mage tower, turn left. Kill the eye, and then the burrower after it to get the central hub area. There is a miniboss and 2 portal keepers in that area.
From where you entered the hub area, go in the house next to it and through the back, there’s another portal keeper.
Come back to the central hub, a house on the opposite side is also open, through that house is the 4th keeper.
After you kill the 4th keeper, keep going and turn left. There is a 2nd miniboss who also serves as the 5th keeper.
Go back the way you came and the last boss is at the top of the tower in the central area.

They should be on your map but since you say they are not then just make a mental note of where they are because they never change.
I hate that one, i always get lost looking for the last 2 portals, so annoying lol
The directions I posted are the most efficient way to kill all 5 keepers. They also see 3 of the 4 crystal locations, and 3 of the 4 chest locations.
The last potential crystal and chest are on the path behind the warlock miniboss back to the centre and add 1 eye and 1 burrower to the route to clear if you want to check for them.
