Like the title says, how do these items interact? Like effects wise? Any boomkin have the boe demon hunter hat?
The color will show through, just more transparent/faded and slightly hue shifted.

The light blue visage, which ilvl version is that?
Blue version is LFR. Green and gold is normal, green and more muted coloring is heroic, and purple is mythic.
