Visage - Blizzard, please

Blizz has already said it isn’t happening. They don’t want to do the work to add the options to other races, and they’re not going to allow alternative visage forms. They’ve also said if you play evoker, you will be in dragon form in combat. If you don’t like it, I’d suggest rerolling.

I’m well aware of Blizzard’s current stance. Their stances have changed on things in the past and that’s what I’m looking forward to. Whether it’s a year or four or more.

What you’re asking for would be akin to Hunters losing pets or Shaman no longer dropping totems. That’s how integral dragon form is to the Evoker class. Making it optional is not happening.

No, this is just a comparison you’ve decided makes sense for yourself.

Also, MM is losing their pet in 11.1

Not anymore. They get to keep their pets if they want them and even without a “pet” they still get a mandated eagle. Animal companions is part of their theme.

They could just have us channel disintegrate from our staff or equipped weapon while in visage form.

Empowered spells could make us shift to dragon form similar to DH for certain abilities.

As far as hover, they could have us sprout wings only while hovering.

These aren’t substantial asks and could all be optional.

Those are all truly terrible ideas.

False. Dragon form is as essential to Evoker class identity as those other factors I mentioned for those other classes.

Yeah that’s just an animation at that point. Just like Scalecommander’s fly-by units.

This thread likely is going nowhere by the way.

You have people in here who are averse to OPTIONAL COSMETIC ideas. I mean, even if you don’t support the idea why stand in the way of it if it bears no impact on gameplay?

I don’t understand those mindsets. Anyways, there’s a warlock in here who spreads bad faith advice about how to play the class and someone else who I already ignored and forgot existed.

YMMV on this idea.

The narrative you’ve created that makes you happy is just an opinion, not fact. One day you’ll learn this in school.

Yes, you are that warlocks.

Still fits the thematic of the class.

Still fits the thematic of the class.

When magic is involved, anything is possible when creating themes. Some people on these forums arbitrarily limit their thought process on that for whatever reason.

Is there a way to ignore people who have hidden profiles?

I’m honestly sick of seeing this persons bad faith and ill-intentioned replies.

When you put the idea that magic can just do everything, then the point of classes get thrown out the window.

Even magic in warcraft has rules and classes do have themes to them.

Which again, is something you care little for.

Some people get kicks being contrarian.

Literally Google it.

Who said magic can do everything? Maybe your imagination is a bit too wild.

Not a kick out of it. I just disagree with your take. This is about not having another situation as lightforged warlocks.
