Visage Animation Bugs? = Janky Visage? = Poor Presentation?

Sooooo. Uhhmmm. What is up with these janky looking visage animations?? Character literally just has two fists up during combat/spellcasting at range? And thats it? Couldn’t even give them a mage, shaman or druid ranged combat casting idle? Or even a melee idle, with weapon pulled out? Like every other class? Looool.

Looks really, really, really bad lol. I actually saw this in beta footage and was like, nah this is a joke right? It’s just unfinished right? Yet, here we are. Literally hours now from dragonfight launch and visage still got them dukes up, despite having a sword on their back. Hmmmm…

Here’s another fun visual tidbit. Has anyone happen to have been standing in visage form yet, while zephyr was active? Lady/guy literally sprinting in place in the air for 2 seconds like they’re on a treadmill.

Visual presentation for new class on point, Blizzard. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I would say these are simply unfinished, downright buggy, if I were to hope these were not intentional lol… but sadly, this is Blizzard. Who clearly doesn’t want to spend an extra few bucks on a QA team. They do like their marketing, though, which usually recommends a good looking first glance to get people hooked in, and leave all the jank behind closed doors for when you actually start playing. But this stuff is right in front our faces soooo. Confused as to company direction.

It’s super obvious they never intended for people to use Visage with Chosen Identity - as well as never wanting Dracthyr to ride mounts in Dracthyr form. It’s only half animated…

True. Reality is, though, I mean, for healers, they are semi-functional in combat. They even gave us chosen identity. Depending on the situation, I get switched back to visage sometimes while healing if I have that active. With my dukes up. Despite having a 2hander on my back. Yikes lol. What a crappy show this is.

It must be… TIME FOR FISTICUFFS YOU JACKANAPES! Have at thee!

Add in the fact that there are players who still haven’t seen the empower glow. If you don’t have one of a limited number of customization options (like fins) you can’t see the glow, at all. I only learned about it because of the trailer that shows an Evoker lighting up like a constellation and mentioned it to a guildie. He pointed me in the right direction, I changed my barber shop appearance, and now my wings glow like the night sky.
