Visa gift cards?

i got a visa gift card and i am wondering if i could use it to buy a character boost. question is can you use visa gift cards in the wow shop?

You should be able to use an undifferentiated gift card (such as a Visa gift card) the same way you would use a credit card. Just use the gift card to fill in the appropriate fields in the “credit card” section for your payment.

If you had to register the card to use online then yes it should be no problem (most gift cards require this for online purchases) and then just like the poster above said just go about like it was a normal credit card.

Gift cards can be used if they are registered online with a name and address that matches your wow account.
When used, they incur a $1 ping charge to test the card. The charge is refunded to the card within a coupe of days but the card would need enough money on it to cover the ping charge, the purchase, and any state taxes.
Most states now charge online sales tax as of this past January first.
