As it stands right now casters just have way too much mana, I suggest we add a viper sting rune that acts similar to Serpent spread, where the viper sting hits multiple targets.
Viper sting right now only drains 840~ mana per 8 seconds, I suggest this gets changed to 100 mana per second for 12 seconds.
when chimera shot is used with Viper sting, it should drain the same amount that viper sting has already drained, and transfer all mana to the hunter.
as it stands right now its a vanilla spell that barely does anything

You can already keep it on every healer with little to no mana cost of your own. If anything it needs a cooldown.
umm hes trollin bruh, its sarcasm

We should give every class a form of mana burn tbh. This is the new sod meta
Add it to improved sting talent.
+30% more mana burned

arent mages already complaining about having to dump a whole mana pool just to secure 1 kill?
if so wouldnt this be overkill?
why do we care about what mages want, this is a thread about hunters
insert the anakin meme of we care about balance right… right?
No, Vanilla isnt balanced and never will be.
He’s being sarcastic….
so you dont care about balance then.
good i can safely throw this suggestion in the trash where it belongs.
oooooooh .
sorry its hard to parse out the serious suggestions with the sarcastic ones.
gg you got me.
For clarity i am not trolling. I think hunters deserve a buff and should make this spell viable in more situations.
I would appreciate if you did not attempt to tarnish my post by brushing it off as sarcasm or something.
I think priest should get aoe pws with mana return on dispels too

Or mage get aoe poly that disarms and silences if broken by damage or dispelled. I can keep going

Those are great ideas, not sure how they help this thread
When Viper sting expires or is dispelled, it should explode and drain 500 mana from everyone within 10 yards

that would be incredible, Explosive Viper Sting.
It has a CD.
It gets refreshed with chimera shots.
It can be cleansed off with ease by most healers and if you want there are consumes to remove it as well.
it does not have a cooldown
Might be confusing it with wotlk viper sting. Will have to confirm when i get home.
Edit-Yep, was thinking wotlk.
But it is easily dispelled as well.
