Tradewinds Marketplace was ablaze last night as soldiers from the Lionguard, Blackheart Mercenaries, and heavys from the Corpse Brigade squared off against criminal elements in what amounted to what people are calling a turf war.
Witnesses say the melee lasted about one hour and seemed to originate from the Snug Harbor Inn. From the Gnomish copter on scene, many casualties were observed and dozens of bodies littering the streets.
With tears in his eyes the Harbormaster stated solemnly “You normally only see this type of violence when Horde armies invade our shores. I have failed as your Harbormaster and will be resigning immediately.”
