What is a “gameplay reveal?”
I have actually played the game in the Alpha and have to say, classes are in a considerably better place than they were in BFA.
I have played all 6 tank specs quite heavily, and other than Warrior, they all have gained significant iteration and have had major holes patched in their kit.
I HATE Brewmaster in BFA, and can easily say its my second favorite tank in Shadowlands, and its only #2 because of how amazing Blood DK is.
Either way, cringe all you want. Class design will never please everyone, but if you want it to please you, you will have to be just a little more specific than
Are you watching footage from time traveling beta testers? I only ask because we are currently in Alpha not Beta. But I am willing to bet things look rough because we are use to our current OP nature and the beginning and middle stages of any expansion is more difficult to deal with.
I only watched his mage one since that’s what I main.
And half of it was him talking out of his butt.
I hate how he pretends that he know’s what he’s talking about just because he generalizes everything.
Preach on the other hand, while I disagree with his thinking sometimes at least has a better understanding of classes. And if he doesn’t gets others opinions on the subject. Instead of just making assumptions like Bellular does.
Metrohaha also has a mindset about difficulty that is just bent and twisted.
He wants everything HARDER. So of course nerfs are a good thing. How he’s managed to hold his green status for so long is beyond me due to his negative mindset in multiple areas.
No I can assure you I am not.
Its not really an opinion, honestly. They might not be the improvement you wanted, but they are objectively an improvement.
Nerfing both pulverize and swiftmend hard is "objectively an improvement? Glad we had you to point out how these big nerfs will make up for the fact that guardian will still be the only tank without a slow in Shadowlands.
And you’re right. It’s not even an opinion, just self-serving puffery on your part.
Shadowlands is very much continuing in the direction of Legion. The “unpruning” was more about adding utility spells than it was about removing the spec-dependency WoW’s systems have these days.
Obviously this is a bit frustrating if you’re the sort of person who wants to play a “Hunter” instead of a “Beast Mastery Hunter,” but that’s kind of just the way the game is now. Convenant skills, and likely Soulbinds/Conduits/Legendaries, are going to be better for one spec than they are for another.
Balance looks a lot better with what’s coming than what we have atm. Starfall was never worth casting for most of BFA save for a metric ton of targets 7-9+ of them stacked and they had to STAY in that starfall for all seven seconds to be even worth it being casted over a starsurge at the moment.
I am scared for demonology it is getting almost nothing…while losing the azerite traits which in reality should of been baseline for that spec to even function right (plus lack of interrupt in high end content) felhound requires gimping the spec by alot.
