Video to support evidence of illegal activity

Sounds pretty Canadian of them.

Quebec doesn’t want people uploading videos of porch pirates due to concerns for the privacy of the porch pirates.

One button?
Psh.
Look at Mr Overachiever here.
Thinks he’s all fancy cause he uses a button.

I don’t use any buttons and just last month I went FIFTEEN MINUTES without being vote kicked.
Let’s see you try to top that!

I have video capturing being loop when I play almost any game, using the Geoforce instant replay feature. But I don’t do it for video evidence of wrong doing, I just do it for when someone cool or unexpected may happen that I want to capture.

Illegal stuff? there is stuff against the rules but very little that is truly illegal.

There’s really not a need to, Blizzard uses their own logs for handling actions. The most I have ever used it for it to show the area/npc/etc having a bug or exploit.

Maybe it should be - kicking an innocent person from a pug should be punishable by 3 days in county jail, discussing politics in trade chat or on forums should be punished by 40 hours of picking up trash on freeway. Using a bot should be punishable by having to build a bot that picks up trash on the freeway. (freeways have a lot of trash I guess)

Justice well served!

Right?

I don’t take the game this seriously. I have a life and prefer to avoid unnecessary drama.

Considering GMs do not take into account videos or screenshots when reviewing tickets or appeals… no one should be doing this.

I would say take a break from wow if your that obsessed, then i saw you had 245 Ach points on a level 80 and i thought, hmm bot account starting a discussion.

I’ve seen a lot of pvp’ers have recordings of lots of gameplay so they can send something in that’s suspicious or just to go back and rewatch fights for fun.

I mean, sure but it doesn’t factor into anything for the GM reports, which is the original question. Nothing wrong with recording your sessions.

I don’t think I have ever seen illegal activity. I might have seen a bot or two in the past but just go on with my day. It could be an actual player. However, bots aren’t illegal. They may be against the TOS but not illegal.

But they do require power and maintenance. Until they make AI power generation, fabrication, software devs, and mechanics and they can work on each other, of course.

Sure it does you record so you can report something suspicious.

I suppose? But typically, you would just report and move on.

I don’t really notice illegal stuff.
The only thing I report are gold spam sellers.
