Nobody but you and people who are pro qsyncers seem confused to me.
This is pretty funny. That was exactly my point why it’s not called a premade generally. That is the premade is only said anywhere in the game in that tool. So you keep saying it’s the definition but the vast majority of people on the forums don’t use it that way. So since there is no in game definition and 99.9% of people on the forums complaining about premades are talking about premade raid groups, I say your definition is flat out wrong and you should adjust.
Also, read what people are saying and figure it out, or ask. Not hard.
How do you get that this is about a 5 man issue not a full raid premade? He doesn’t say it and hasn’t said so…he refers to the teams in the video not parties…teams are 10 mans, not 5 mans. You are just hearing what you want here and making up a definition and telling everyone what to think. Nothing in this thread, other than your made up definition which seems to come from nowhere.
In short, stop trying to change definitions that are commonly used, and instead ask if you are confused.
Right now I don’t see anything that says you are right here. I agree you can call a 5 man a premade if you like, but that is just not what people are complaining about and it’s definitely not what he is talking about in the video. So stop trying to sideline the conversation about how bad all of this is by doing weird logic loops with just straight lies about what posts are about.
I mean the simplest thing is just to look at the groups that call themselves premade community groups. They are not running 5 mans without q syncing. It’s just not the issue people are complaining about.
I have and I see him talking about teams. Show me where he is pointing to a single group, not the entire other team and saying it is an issue for people to join in 5 mans. It’s just a ridiculous take. If you want to make that claim point out the part where he says one group is coordinating, not the whole team. He is saying team, instead of party through the whole thing. At around 330 he even goes over 6 different people and their hp…so how can it be about a 5 man queuing in coordination?
5:56 “these guys have better gear than everybody on your team and they have perfect coordination”
Do you think he means party when he is saying team? He then points to his own team that has I believe 8 out of 10 dead, and calls it his team.
When he loses it in the end when people are dying at the GY farm it’s more than 5 people farming it.
Literally nothing in that video has the context of a single 5 person premade, or multiple 5 man premades. it is about premade raid groups, and has been for years.
Don’t get me wrong the HP thing I think is just weird but he is definitely talking about the whole team, not a group in the team.
I don’t believe you don’t know this. Maybe you are just being defensive about a termonology debate, but you have yet to show me a group of people who have the confusion you have. Everyone has been calling it the premade issue for years. The reason it is possible is qsync. They are interchangeable … the only people who ever bring up the “it’s a group game we should be allowed to group”, are disingenuous pro premade bsers.
Your turn, where does it seem like he means a 5 man normal queue premade, and not a qsync premade?
Haha ok man, I don’t play rated much it’s true, not that good. I guess you have to be highly rated…on a lvl 22 alt, to be able to tell if a video is about a 5 man premade, or a qsync raid premade huh? Man if only I had pvp skill it would help me to communicate!!! Damn my rating!!! Damn it to hell!!!
Oh yeah, I’m sure they’ll get some truly insightful and constructive feedback from the people who don’t even play by the rules. That’ll be super valuable, lol.
So they should ONLY talk to you all and squelch any other points of view? I don’t agree with you, but I don’t doubt that you mean well and am perfectly willing to share my perspective in opposition, and any company worth its salt would want to hear from me or someone in my position. We pay the same $15.98/month.
No, obviously they should talk to both sides, even though one side is blatantly bypassing the 5-player premade limit. Large-scale coordinated PvP absolutely has its place, and I know you hate this, but it’s not supposed to be against pugs, it’s meant to be against other coordinated raids.
If the NFL needed to decide how to combat baseball bats being used to break the knee caps of the opposition, they likely would not consult those breaking players knee caps.
Its a “competition” and winning has rewards, but if you find an exploit and use it to nearly ensure you win any match, the victims on the other team are going to notice and ask for solutions. The solution to queue syncers is not “well, everyone can queue sync so everyone should queue sync”. Instead maybe have some morals and self govern. It shouldn’t take another adult or a corporation to explain to you the difference between right and wrong or the difference between cheating and clever game mechanics.
Framing it as a moral argument just shows you all are taking this too seriously. It’s a game.
There is no evil being done to make a moral argument. My pixels beat your pixels. I’m not sure where the actual harm is, and there is a ready-made MMO solution to the problem…join one of said groups yourself.
Also, we play against enough pre-made ourselves I would question the metrics behind your anecdotes. Seems to me you would have teams on your side as much as against it, which would (by default) negate much of the problem you’re describing. The PUGs in our groups can Zerg about mindlessly and get carried to a win. We might even try to get them to play along, but they usually just insult us and do whatever they want, or sometimes just decide to die on purpose to throw the match.
I would say my alternate solution is to do the opposite. Allow teams to join as full raids and force everyone to group up as a result. The communities are already in place, and I think MMO’s are always better served by encouraging community play. Seems to me there are more than enough solo options in this game (including PVP) otherwise.
If it’s a game why are you required to win most of the time and everyone else is obligated to be your farming targets?
The majority of queue sync’ers in EBG’s and EBG’s aren’t there for an organized fight against an organized opponent, they’re there for an unfair fight against a disorganized PUG.
Oh so you are circumventing the five person limit to get a raid sized team and there is no moral implications? Interesting take, we’ve heard it before.
You just have to ask yourself why you do it. If you’re doing it because it gives you a better chance at winning, that sounds like you understand that it is an exploitation. If bringing ten players with you in a random bg or up to forty for an epic battleground doesn’t increase your chances of winning, why do it?
Nobody’s gonna tell you not to play with your friends in a RBG.
It’s not “moral” because it’s just a game. Maybe ethical…maybe, but certainly not a morality argument to be made over pixels on a screen. First world problem. If children or puppies get hurt as a result of my actions in game, I’ll reconsider.
It’s fun to play on a team. It’s not fun to play solo. So much of this game now feels like an empty soulless solo experience. That’s it for me, in a nutshell.
If the people I play with want to do that, sure, I’ll do it. If they want to do EBG’s, I’ll do that too. The only people telling me not to queue this way looks like the same few forum malcontents. Sorry folks, but your arguments are not persuasive to me in the least.
It’s fun to play on a team. It’s not fun to play solo
This is just goofy because you’re queueing solo … to be put with 39 other players … and group chat exists. It’s not “solo” in the way you’re trying to frame it.
The other day a player threw our match by repeatedly running into a Zerg ball, doing nothing, dying, and then running right back in as soon as they re-spawned. Was that you on an alt? Heh. Wouldn’t surprise me.
Proof though, hmmmm, that would probably require you joining up with us to see our perspective…probably not likely.
So tell me, Doctor, what help do I need exactly? Break open your DSM 5 and give me the rundown. This should be entertaining.
If you truly believe that a group chat with a bunch of strangers equates to a team that you play with night in and night out for months to years then you’re clearly missing the point.
