Victory or Death will be an Alliance guild intent on progression raiding in a casual to semi-hardcore environment. All players are welcome, but potential core members should display consistent good sportsmanship, maturity, and be team oriented.
Expectations for Core Membership
- Good Attitude - Our expectation is that contributions to the guild are largely through actions. However, having a pleasant attitude is critical to the long term success of our community.
- Humility - An assiduous willingness to learn is formative to any guild’s success. We understand that players will come to our community with varying, or no levels of knowledge surrounding Classic WoW. Competent players should be willing to teach and share experience with other members through demonstration, constructive criticism, and more thoroughly, through mentorship. Newer players should be willing to accept help. The success of the guild and humility are inextricable; a humble raider was all we ever needed.
- A Family Environment - Guidance or assistance for questing, help with world PvP, gearing assistance for raiding. Our guild lends more than a hand when called upon.
Tenative Raid Schedule
6pm - 9pm PST / 9pm - 12am EST (at least) Tu/Th/Alternating Sat/Sun
i.e. Week 1 - Tu/Th/Sat, Week 2 - Tu/Th/Sun, Week 3 - Tu/Th/Sat, etc.
Loot Rules - The Basics
- Attendance based DKP will be awarded to ALL raid eligible players online and ready to participate. (i.e. Raid Start, each boss kill, and raid end DKP awards)
- Raid ready players not in raids will be awarded DKP the same as those players participating in raids as long as they are online and ready to participate at roll call for each event in a raid (Start, end, boss kill)
- DKP will be hard-capped, but will be possible to go negative
- Main Spec > Off Spec Always
A successful guild depends on solid leadership from all types of players from casuals to officers. We all contribute to each others’ success and enjoyment. Don’t hesitate to check us out. We’re still a ways off from Classic launch. Most of our time is just spent getting to know the new faces and develop loose plans for the initial phases of launch.
