Victory in Vol’dun!

Shadows of Death has had yet another victory in Vol’dun.
For some time, the Alliance was beginning to dominate Warmode. PUG groups were forming to get their Against Overwhelming Odds quest done, and the Horde was being overrun.

I decided to put my foot down.

We first defended Dazar’Alor, pushing the Alliance out of the Great Seal and wiping any who set foot in the docks.
After some time, we moved on to Vol’dun, where the real fighting begun.
Alliance raids were camping the area, so we formed up and engaged them.
I’m not going to lie, there were some casualties and there was one failed attempt (where we fought hard but were forced to retreat), but we did not let one mere failure stop us. We formed up again and crushed the campers, even killing the bounty they had.
Eventually, we became unstoppable, moving from WQ to WQ and eventually making our way to Shatterstone Harbor. After much fighting, we pushed through all the way to the very docks of the harbor! We then looped back around and hit the world quests again.
Eventually, after killing raid after raid, we got a little bored with the Alliance we were fighting. We were too strong for them. So after wiping them one last time, we decided to hop onto a different shard. One of my group members mentioned that their shard had a lot of Alliance (they were on Emerald Dream) so we decided to hop onto their shard.
Then we did the same thing again on Emerald Dream. We hit the WQs, Shatterstone Harbor, and the WQs again, killing all the Alliance there!
Afterwards, we agreed that this battle was a victory for Shadows of Death. We successfully routed all the Alliance forces in not only Dazar’Alor, but in Vol’dun. We stopped the Alliance from getting their kills for Against Overwhelming Odds. And although there were some deaths on our part, we made the Alliance pay for each of those deaths tenfold! (No, even more!)

The Alliance has grown arrogant these last few days, forcing many Horde forces into hiding, forcing them to turn off their Warmode. Some may give up, but I refuse. I encourage all those who turned off their Warmode to pick up your blades, swords, and spellbooks once again and return to the field of battle. You may find the Alliance overwhelming, but know that Shadows of Death is growing and will constantly fight on your side. We become stronger with each victory, gaining new members and learning from mistakes. So if you see us, riding out on the battlefield, feel free to join us!

And to the Alliance, know this: As Shadows grow, so does Death!
Lok’tar ogar!
For the Horde!

Whether friend or foe, I’ll see you on the battlefield…

Is that a pvp community or guild that you’re talking about ? If It’s a community how can I get an invite ?

Community. And I guess you could look for groups in premades (under “Custom PvP”) being led by me (as of this date/time, no one but me leads the group. I have officers, but no other leaders). I may have an official listing at some point in the future, but I haven’t used any yet.
My titles usually have something to do with killing Alliance. (My title for the raid I just talked about title was “Destroying Alliance! (Voldun)”.)

Thanks for the informations , I’ll check it out later on .

So basically while you killed off a few alliance you allowed a lot of them to complete their 25 kill quest like they would have anyways. You may have one the battle but you will lose the war especially if the alliance gets the gear quest again next week.

Stopped them for a good number of hours. Obviously I’m not a machine and my community is still growing so we can’t stop them 24/7 but we definitely stopped a good number of the camping groups.

At least you admit it’s pickup groups that you were fighting. Still, better than the Horde that were forced into hiding by said pickup groups.

It has definitely been getting boring in RP war mode shards as Alliance; good that some Horde are venturing into them.

Basically you ran around killing alliance and you got nothing for it other than wasted game time … the allaince who killed you during that time got a 400 level gear.

Good job ??

Stop complaining and fight back. These Horde players who involve themselves with this group don’t complain or moan about it at all? They don’t care because it’s a challenge for them.

But you want an easy win huh? That’s why Horde were in massive raid groups prior to 8.1 but as soon as Alliance starts to do it you complain about being outnumbered? Boo hoo.

Your not a true Hordie, Shadows of Death actually brings ‘Victory or Death’ to the table where you just want ‘Victory or Crying’.

Glad to see horde coming out to play so I can get ooa again next week. Can you guys go to drustvar, I still have cta to complete on one char there.

I think Horde wants equal rewards for equal work … if I am gonna spend 1 hour running around fighting alliance then I want the same rewards they get for my time for doing the same thing .

Horde overwhelmingly outnumber alliance, so no, it’s not equal work.

Do they? … Ion said the shards are pretty balanced now .

No they said the imbalance was half what it was when 8.1 dropped.

ThTs the total ppl not shard balance , diff things

And when you have 4000 v 2000 some might be balanced but you’re still having 2000 players that aren’t or you’re running shards at 2:1

So no, no equal work.

Shards prevent horde from using the extra numbers … so I don’t understand how anyone can be outnumbered .

Actually overflow horde are put into shards with no alliance …: there is no 2:1

Since you’re reading comprehension is shot re read my post. I said those overflow would have no alliance. So no, those overflow wouldn’t be doing equal work and why horde shouldnt have any extra bonus.

You seem to have trouble reading … I am only taking about the AOO quest not the extra 30 bonus. We don’t have an incentive to run around killing alliance .
Especially right now I need to gear for the new raid, so I can’t indulge in game activity which gives me no gear.
