Shrug druid is still amazing in M+ and pvp as always. They’re never bottom tier, if anything at most mid tier. Disc though oof, they get top spot for a week and nerfs for a YEAR like bfa has shown and the most recent weeks (EVERY SINGLE WEEK) of nerfs to disc for SL. I think druid is always a good choice for healers.
Disc is just popular because its an insane damage meta and they are of course a damage healer. Pop dark archangel and power infuse your dps. You aren’t taken for being a healer, instead a buffbot- just that you can buff your dps to make one shots even easier. IF the match lasts longer than your rapture, your team probably loses cause you can’t heal worth anything.

No I won’t. I love the play style and they’ve always been strong. I don’t care if they’re not “S Tier”, Druids will always be capable healers. They’ve had a place in PvP since Vanilla in some way shape or form.
I also play a lot of BG/RBG and the mobility you get with Druid is so much more engaging for me than the pew pew stand still priest. Nothing feels better than escaping unscathed. If I was more focused on strictly arena then I might stay Disc. Hell, I already leveled my disc priest , she will always be there if I change my mind.
Disc is strong, but I’m finding the spec to be boring and very un fun to play in Mythics. Disc priest fun factor fell off for me ever since they got rid of Prayer of Mending which was my fave priest spell of all time. And I’m def not playing Holy 
I completely disagree with this sentiment, disc healing is and always has been very very high and good
