I’ve been noticing at random times this weird diagonal line coming from the top left of the screen heading down toward the bottom right. It’s not on the geometry, it overlays on top of everything (probably a post processing effect):

Here’s the extremely weird combination of graphics settings to trigger it:
Liquid detail: High
View Distance: 8
Environmental Detail: 4
If any of these settings go below these levels, it goes away. They all have to equal exactly these levels or higher.
I disabled AA for this testing to rule it out as well. I don’t have VRS on or any upscaling either. None of the other settings had an effect on it either.
This is on an AMD RX 6600 with the drivers that just came out today 23.5.1 and playing the game on DX12. Looks like some kind of precision or rounding error. It almost looks like it’s coming from some kind of lens flare vector angle.
Here’s a clip of me showing it appearing and disappearing with the settings:

(Bitrate destroyed the quality, but you can still kind of see it if you fullscreen it. It looks like the image I linked though and kind of moves around with the camera angle. If you see my mouse wiggle where it was, that’s me showing it being there or not)
EDIT: HD version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bgNWFYpum4
EDIT: I should also state that it happens on both DX11 and 12 and it persists after wiping the AMD shader cache. Here’s a high quality clip of it in action and showing the exact settings needed to reproduce:

(it might take 20-30 min from the timestamp of this edit for the HD version to be processed)
EDIT2: Even more testing and clues:
It appears to happen in the westward facing 90 degree cone. If looking west were zero degrees, it would happen between -45(southwest) and +45(northwest) degrees of it. There’s an exact angle cutoff for it. This definitely feels like some kind of dot product issue.
