Lately the downloads of updates take forever. I finally remember a blue saying that speed in settings…download should be at 0 Kb/s …mine is at 20kb/s and cannot be changed… i switch it to 0 but it always comes back to 20kb/s. Could that be the reason it’s so slow? thanks for reading me
Usualy u have too many things going on in the background like multple wow related programs try resetting ur computer.

I’ve tried rebooting the game…the computer…still the same. I never check other sites while I’m in the game
I have found that closing the client, turning on my VPN for the US connection and opening the client has allowed me to update at 10MB/s.

Sometimes you can force its hand by closing the client completely. And by “completely” mean as much - when you just close the UI the Agent.exe program is still running in the background, which you need to use the Task Manager to close. Rebooting will naturally close this.
I had to do this twice the other night. Once during the Initializing phase, and again during the download.
Had this happen to me. The VPN thing worked for me too. It was downloading at 20-30kb/s, turn the VPN on and it’s finished in seconds. I don’t understand why Blizzard choose to slow down their international customers by so much.
