I mean the “mail” is a pretty core function to the code I’m sure. If for whatever reason they had to fix that and reprocesses the database I can only image how long that would take!

I ain’t no computer physicist, but any issues that could of occurred should have been implemented and discussed in the planning phase of deciding when a legitimate release date was feasible. Do Hollywood movies delay releases hours before hitting the theaters? What about new vehicles, iPhones, etc. This is 100% preventable, but Blizzard knows the vast majority of us will continue playing, regardless of how you treat the player base. Overall, it’s just bad business practice, period.
