I knew it…restoring backups is always a time sink
Thanks for the update. IMHO, I think players should’ve been told to clear mail or risk losing it upon login.
Appreciate the communication.
Ty for the update. Please consider restoring all mail that might have expired in 24 hrs…
Thanks! We appreciate this. Once it is live, we will go back to enjoying the game, … and for the shills? Well, they will still rampage the forums in hope that their cash shop converter minigame gets some updates (I wish the best for your game too).
Thanks for the update Kaivax :^)
I mean the “mail” is a pretty core function to the code I’m sure. If for whatever reason they had to fix that and reprocesses the database I can only image how long that would take!
If he even played the game in 2007 he’d know this isn’t true
Why copy the data the day of, why not have the copies ready to go for launch?
That’s a great update.
I was thinking that perhaps all those points you just made could have been checked prior to launch however
Na I want that mount, But I can’t buy it…lmao
I’m actually okay with this because I’d rather not have my bank alt’s mailbox trashed after extended auction house lockdown
It’s my fault. I send all my grey items to one toon and I rarely clear it out. My bad
Go to bed everyone…
…Does this worry anyone else or just me? Because I mean WoD had longer maintenance and it wasn’t that long ago.
IGNORE THE KAREN’S BLIZZARD!
We non-Karen’s appreciate the work your trying to complete!
I ain’t no computer physicist, but any issues that could of occurred should have been implemented and discussed in the planning phase of deciding when a legitimate release date was feasible. Do Hollywood movies delay releases hours before hitting the theaters? What about new vehicles, iPhones, etc. This is 100% preventable, but Blizzard knows the vast majority of us will continue playing, regardless of how you treat the player base. Overall, it’s just bad business practice, period.
So can we get like a realistic ETA, So I stop wasting time waiting?
almost like they could have tested it or done some sort of BETA to prevent this.
