well thats my point they should be redesigned for better ease of play. you didnt lose because of low dps you lost because you didn’t capitalize on your team comps strength. Veng DH sigils can shut down an entire group of casters for upwards of 10 seconds, a DK death chain in a rot comp can melt healers, BM monks are CC monsters. In order to win with tanks you need mandatory coordination which is poor design for this game and should be addressed by blizzard. If the tank was providing the same utility but with a passive group dmg buff for example they would be perfectly viable.
remember winning any kind of competition is based around 2 strategies. getting your win condition off first (which is what traditional dps comps do) and preventing your opponents from getting off their win condition (which is what well played tanks do). design changes need to be made to better integrate the two,
