It needs to be either removed from the gcd entirely and automatically give you the stack buff once they fall off or be reworked again.
Dunno about you but it’s not even remotely enjoyable having to track my roll the bones and slice and then make sure to reactivate this dumb ability before it falls off because if you fail to reactivate it you don’t get the buff and you’ve wasted a gcd and a long cooldown for no return at all. Also why does it only stack off combo point usage??? Kind of kills the ability for sub and sin.
Flagellation should be like a snap-shot window; press the button and try to get as many finishers off before the window expires and you get X amount of haste as a result.
And making it a poison like Kingsbane would be far better in the long run than shadow damage, Blizzard, just saying.
Yah. It’s been an ongoing complaint on these forums. We’re probably going to be stuck with it until 9.1, at least. Even then. Who knows if they ever will change it regardless of the feedback.
It’s kind of funny the Hunter tooltip: “causing them to bleed X shadow damage”. Apparently all our blood has shadow magic in it!
Now that I’ve really played Shadowlands. When I compare other classes/specs that are done really well (Unholy/SPriest/etc…) to rogues. Then when I remember how we were the last to get everything released in the beta. The I look at Flagellation which was their what third iteration of a Venthyr ability? I only have one conclusion. Blizzard has no clue what they want to do for rogue. And they just masked it behind “let’s just give them back SnD and poisons and the stupid neckbeards will praise us”. And that seems to be the case.
Well, so far you can either change of Covenant OR configurate a Weakaura so you have 2 sec window to reactivate Flag -that´s what I did- and problem solved.
