Vengeance - Fodder to the Flame Glaive not one-shotting demons

Tooltip says lethal damage, but is on average doing 80% of the demon’s hp, requiring us to use 2 glaive tosses to kill it.

This is happening for me to. Maybe a scaling issue with hp? I noticed in the cobalt assembly when I was stacking hp, I just just under 2million HP and my glaive was only doing 10% damage to the demons.

I came to the forums just to start a post about this. We need some eyes on this. Fodder to the Flame should one shot the demon, hence “lethal” damage. But it never does. Having to use 2 glaives is not good.

Yes this is a bug, noticed this 12/10 on vengeance spec

can confirm the glaive does about 80% but NEVER one shots on both specs - using two globals to interact with a talent feels bad, especially considering how low our haste is.
PLEASE FIX

Now the 16th december 2022, still requires 2 glaves to kill the demon. Still not fixed.

its been a known bug for like 2 months its so annoying that they have time to nerf stuff but not fix basic class mechanics

I imagine if Fodder did like twice as much healing instead of taking twice as many glaives as intended it would be hotfixed immediately, but because it’s not a beneficial bug it’s just gonna sit on the backburner for a while.

Still experiencing this bug on the Great Vault launch. I noticed this is only a Vengeance bug. My glaives are lethal on my Havoc build. Do any others experience that as well?

Makes the talent pretty awful.

Hey Blizz can we get an update? Lethal = sufficient to cause death. Either fix the tooltip or fix the damage.

Yes, I’ve noticed this also. It only happens in Vengeance spec for me.

2/26/23 vengeance can’t still one-shot fodder to the flame. it’s been three months already Blizz, c’mon!

This is true not only for fodder to the flame but also explosives. It’s the only ability I’ve seen that cannot one shot explosives……

Glad it’s not just me with the issue. Ven-DH main here to also chime in, needs 2 glaives to kill demons summoned via Fodder to the Flame talent :confused: Used to one-shot demons when I was lvl 60 or so but at max lvl, doesn’t work anymore…
