Dudes and dudettes… I absolutely love VDH. Both class fantasy and play style. I’ve been playing it on and off for a few expansions now to get my fix. It was my main season 4 SL and my main season 2 DF. But I hate playing FotM specs. I got 2.9k on Guardian last season just to spite VDH being so OP. I’m messing around with it again and it’s insane how invincible it is. Ton of damage, ton of healing, ton of control, short cds, crazy mobility and the list goes on. Take something away from VDH. I know the tier set will be gone in TWW but still. I literally feel guilty playing it and benching my bear. I get it, that’s my own issue. But I thought maybe devs would listen if someone who loves and wants to play VDH wanted some nerfs for them too.
TLDR; I want Vengeance nerfed so I don’t feel like I’m cheating when I play it.
vengeance DH has been noted to be one of the weaker tanks come war within. From what I have seen, vengeance’s tier set will be quite weak and they will not be able to use their talents to be so offensive - they will need to build MUCH more defensive and thus lose their ability to survive everything while also controlling all mobs AND doing as much dmg as a dps class.
yes, the OP tier set will be gone and thus, the OP feel of VDH will be gone as well.
DHs (both havoc and vengeance) suffer from the problem of being born into a system of borrowed power - the artifacts and legendaries of Legion.
As a result, these two specs were never really fleshed out on their own and genuinely require borrowed power to truly exist as a proper spec.
there will always be “something missing” from havoc and vengeance - if the current tier set bonus doesn’t make them feel “whole”, then they are pretty much dead for that season.
