The fact this thing still exists in the current state its in is baffling. Such a disservice to the M+ community to leave this tank outrageously overtuned with 14+ seconds of silence, 3 aoe stops, ST stun, 5% magic dam, and cage. Not only is it super imablanced, it erodes game play since one character can mass CC the entire pack by itself.
Best damage to boot and tanky.
I get the MOP remix electric boogaloo and fortnite wow edition are fun but it would be great if the devs could spend just an ounce of their time balancing the actual World of Warcraft for the players that enjoy it.
Second to that, are we really gonna see the priest mage aug dps for the third season in a row as well? What is going on over there at blizzard? Please address the utility of specs currently or dps numbers to balance it out.

I would happily give it up. I’m a prot warrior enjoyer but playing anything other than DH is trolling your party at higher key levels.

The fact that mythics aren’t the only game in town. I think some of you forget that when you constantly want to nerf DHs and/or Beast Masters.
I prefer to look through the lens of other tanks under performing and want them to buff those specs for those classes. But yeah, it is an issue when so many of the top tanks are all the same class - that’s definitely a red flag.

DH can control an entire mob pack for ~25 seconds. If every tank was doing this, the power creep would be insane. You can’t just give one character the ability to shut down packs as hard as 5-6 classes combined.
We are at a point now where healers CDs are extremely bursty and almost no throughput matters because of defensive power creep. Utility power creep is also an issue. They nerfed it after legion and bringing it back on just some specs is a disaster.

Maybe, I know nothing about mythics - or even tanking for that matter. I just get tired of seeing these two get thrown up on the forums at least once a month. Just seems like the usual easy bait.

I will say there is a very good reason people are posting so periodically. If they actually did something about it, people would stop.
Yeah, I wasn’t expecting a massive tuning pass but I thought for sure VDH would get a tweak because their mob control is pretty crazy.
But they also didn’t nerf blood DK in SL season 4 despite them being busted as well so I guess I was expecting too much.

Whoever approved the double sigil situation really needs to be fired or removed from class design team. Single handedly one of the most imbalanced changes in two decades of wow history. I call on all of you to join me when I say it should be reverted.

I don’t troll - sheesh, disgusting little beasts! Honestly though, the mythics whine and the next thing you know one of those two classes get nerfed to the ground. They may over-correct a next season or expansion and it starts all over. No two classes get hit on the most for as long as I’ve been here (on forum at least, 5 years) than these two.
I don’t know if the bean counters look at mythics more, or pvp, or open world players - and who plays what class more often. Either for the wrong reasons in mythic or survivability for those that don’t dungeon and thus don’thave the higher gear.
I get the feeling though I’m distracting from your personal need for this thread so I am sorry for that part. This may be your first time ever seeing this topic hashed over.
