Blizzard please make it so Ve’nari Rep is account bound. I am debating rerolling my main right now, but I am already halfway through cordial with Ve’nari. The fact that I have to grind out all of that rep again for another characters makes me want to not even try/play the game at all. You guys already did a good job with the maw abilities please please please, make the rep account wide. If you want us to grind make stygia harder to get or something. player power being locked behind rep makes people want to play less alts instead of more! Hope you guys consider this.

Thanks for making a great expansion again.

Have they ever done this? At best during MoP they gave your alts a rep buff to make the grind faster.

Also, the only thing important rep locked in Ve’nari is sockets. Which isn’t critical to have right off the bat on an alt.

Rep should have been account wide from the beginning. Hell I should be able to mail stuff to toons on my account regardless of what faction they are. Swtor did it best. The shared legacy bank that allows you to give stuff to toons on your own account no matter what. I shouldn’t be bared from mailing bags or gold from my horde toons to my alliance toons.

Rep has never been account-wide. I went back to my sham after starting the first 3-4 weeks of the expansion as a mage and hated it. But I’m catching back up nicely.

If you bought all the Torghast boosts, you can just stop doing the Maw altogether.

If the Venari rep is important to you, just pick one toon to use solely to focus the rep for Venari on?

Not if you have alts that need stuff or you want the sockets sold there.

The Torghast upgrades are account-wide and I think I can live without sockets.

You may be able to but not everyone is the same. Alot of people need sockets. Alot of us are forced to pug everything and with how badly the community gate keeps things, the moment they see our gear not socketed for one reason or another its an instant rejection. Not all of us have a guild that we can run raids with whenever we want. We have to deal with alot of crap just to be able to do higher than lfr. Which is why I can understand why people want rep to be account wide. Not only for the issues I mentioned but also because rep should have been account wide a long time ago.

If you want to farm sockets on alts then you probably should do reputation from start.

Otherwise… why do you even need it on alt

It wasn’t just a “here you go!” either - Once you hit revered, you unlocked 100% bonus rep gains on your entire account.

This was back when Blizzard cared and didn’t just care about time played metrics.

The rep wouldn’t be that important if the the crafter’s mark 2 wasn’t a rep reward from Ve’nari. Every character you want to craft on needs that if you want to craft the 168 gear. I’m holding out to see what the level 3 mark will require.

True. As eng, cm 2 is now useless. Goggles are bind on pickup, meaning they become souldbound upon creating. I can’t even sell them to other engineers…

I would actually like if some things were account bound, not just from Ve’nari. The sockets could be account bound so you can send it to alts. The conduit upgrades would be nice too. I almost have 4 reinforced anima streams for my conductor. I would love it if the legendary recipe tokens could be sent to alts. You can do this with legion legendaries so I’m hoping they decide to do this.

I also wish we could deposit stygia in the bank. I have about 8k on me most the time now. I don’t want to lose it dying :frowning:

If anything I wish the conduit upgrades and sockets were account bound. I have 2 characters at max rep and 1 at 12888/21000 with Ve’nari. I’d love to rob my other toons of their stygia to funnel conduits to this guy.

Yeah I mean what’s the point in investing in one character only. Let’s make levels account bound. And gear let’s make that account bound too. Hell let’s change “soulbound” to “account bound”.

I mean… torghast upgrades are account bound… so you don’t need to regrind Venari for rep unless you want sockets

I mainly focus on pvp, so the sockets make a pretty huge difference now. Also since BFA normal rep becomes account wide when you hit exalted. The same should apply here. The difference of Versatility without sockets is huge for pvp
