I’ve got SL engineering maxed, have the goggles in my bag yet Venari appears as ‘normal’ when I see her in the Maw. She has nothing to tell me when I click on her other than the normal things. What’s up?

Echo Ve’nari probably doesn’t trigger unless you’ve maxed out her reputation and completed the Zereth Mortis questline or something.
Other than that, I’m not sure.

I don’t see her echo either.
Engineering maxed and I’ve earned the paragon chests from her. Paragon chests from the Enlightened guy too.
I don’t understand what I’m missing or supposed to do to get this part of the game to work.

It seems to be bugged for a lot of people. There’s a lot of people on Wowhead saying the same thing, that they meet all the requirements but Ve’nari’s Echo doesn’t appear.

It seems likely they tied the requirement to actually having defeated the Jailer (earning the raid achievement and turning in Bolvar’s quest for it) instead of having completed the campaign (whose final chapter assumes the Jailer’s defeat has already happened, as evidenced by the cutscene being played for you). Ve’nari’s echo’s message clearly indicates the Jailer is no longer a threat, so Blizzard should allow either of these scenarios to trigger this “secret”.

I’ve noticed that a lot of the people claiming that they can’t get the Echo of Ve’nari to trigger haven’t mentioned defeating the Jailer in the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid. Don’t know if that’s the thing people are missing or not.

Yeah only reason I thought of it is because the OP here doesn’t have a Jailer kill on the character they posted on. I haven’t done the campaign on any alts so unfortunately I have no quick way to test despite having 4 other engineers.

That’s correct. I don’t have a jailer kill. Would have been nice if Blizz had indicated that was a requirement to see Venari’s echo (assuming this is why I can’t).
I have a Jailer kill and I don’t see the echo.
I fear that I didn’t finish all of the quests in the Maw and don’t know exactly which ones and so I am adrift in this cruel design.
UPDATE: I went back to the Maw and finished the Step quests and got the echo. I only had number seven left to do. Now I’ll wait five days for my toy.

Just wanted to confirm for anyone still checking, have to have the Jailer down.
I had everything else done, rep, story, etc. and Venari was not yet an echo. Finally got around to killing the Jailer (raid finder) and turning in the quests, and now I can continue on with light purple force ghost Venari.
I have not killed the jailer on this character and got the letter with the toy in the mail.
