Ve’nari hotfix went out for account wide unlocks.
You only need to do the grind once!

OH good! now all we need is to actually get items to drop on alts, because im valor capped on all of them as well. Thanks i guess? Hope i can get the items to drop before my sub runs out next month

Agreed.
As a plus we can now buy the conduit upgrades and sockets freely. Oh, and the crafting recipe for higher ilvl.

Can you elaborate a bit? My alts reputation is still dubious. I’ll be able to buy Gem sockets since my main is " Exalted " ?

That’s what the hotfix should allow now, yes.
You just need to log in once with the highest rep character and any character gets the benefit of that.
This should have been established in 9.0

When I saw this system, I instantly gave up.
Stuck around for a bit of the story chapters but left my raid team, left my guild, didn’t even stick around to see LFR fully open, just gave up.
Everything about the Maw just made me realize this game is no longer “for fun”.
I’ve not logged in for no less than 3 months because if I do it’s… “Farm M+ and the Maw until your soul dies”.
I’m not seeing this in any patch notes, any of the hotfix blogs nor any of the usual places chatting about such.
Though, if it happened?.
It’s at least a good start to getting people to log back in and the dev’s realizing that the bed they made isn’t comfortable enough to sleep in.

Wowhead and MMO-Champ posted it, only the EU hotfix post has been updated so far it seems. But it is working for NA realms, just tested with my Rogue alt.

As much as I like SL I can’t help but ask why in God’s name this wasn’t a thing from the very beginning.

the rep will be worthless unless they expand her and even so I think it will be based mostly on whatever currency is on any patch it comes next.
sure a decent change but far from fixing anything.
They start doing this crap, I suspect, when the sub numbers reach worrying levels.

This is pretty much why im not gonna sub again until a good month into 9.1. They always release stuff then ‘fix’ it a month or so later. 8.3 with the corruption vendor coming later, this and 9.1 will probably add a valor gear vendor.

The way they make expansions now, it is best to wait until the last 3 months of an expansion to play each one.
