I’m on the PTR and it shows 2,4,8 for me like normal.

Nope. The whole vault system is an illusionary joke. Little more than a free roll for gear that never dropped during 50+ keys in a week. It’s a treadmill I am not interested in.

Cool I’ll just drop down to doing 6 rather than 8. End up taking tokens at least half the time anyway

The raid boss kill it usually based upon the number of boss in a tier. The current 6 bosses seems low but when you consider that there are only 8 bosses…

While I think it makes more sense to be 3/6/9, this is also hardly the end of the world.

Questionable whether this is going to be a real change or not but I will happily go down to 3 delves instead of 4 and just supplement with a few more keys. Especially now that crests have been made (even more) lucrative from keys.
The reward outlier will simply be switched from delves back to keys (which have held this title for a decade already) with a change like this from my perspective.
Because you don’t have anything to “laugh about” sending care one way or the other.

You’re so flustered you can’t even type properly.
For many people this will just be an early season annoyance that they’ll leave behind them for other people to struggle with if it ever happens. So from that perspective I can see why they’d be gung-ho about making this change.
It will annoy them for a week if that. Then it will continue to annoy a vast number of people they deem “below them” for an entire season so it’s a net win for that kind of personality.

Eya, I usually just do 2 for the first few of my 80’s… they get boring after that. Ditto for raids and almost no dungeons unless there is timewalking and I like the subject expansion.

A lot of things get boring with the amount of repetition you can put into them in WoW. Which is why I mix my time between everything on the PvE side whether it be soloing/duoing delves, getting KSM and KSH, or pugging what I can in heroic raids.
Too much of even a great thing is bad for you in every single situation.
That said I would not up my weekly delve vault goal from 4 to 6 for this. I’d reduce it to 3 and take my single vault option.
