How has this pathetic excuse of a system made it so far deep into so many expansions?

Grinded 7 vault slots between m+, delves, raiding and I consider myself a casual running 10s+ to walk away with nothing because of rng and there is nothing you can do about it

Early exit for me as a returning player, can’t imagine as a new one

You’re right, they should get rid of it so people stop complaining about not getting the specific free items they wanted.

How long were you gone? Loot has never been showered on us like it is now. Not sure why this would send you over the edge.

if this patch isn’t enough loot for you then idk how you managed to play before

just because of 1 scuffed vault which is still a socket which is technically bis

The vault is not meant to be your primary source of loot. It’s just a better version of bonus rolls.

“Showered on us” how so? I suppose if you fill your fault with rng but that’s hours in weekly commitment

I can’t say that I disagree but I wouldnt exactly say they’re free..

Showered on us meaning you can farm heroic grease from +6 abs above as much as you want, you get raid drops, you get catalyst charges to convert to tier, you get vault slots, and we’re getting bonus rolls, this is why content gets consumed so fast now. People get geared really fast now

Showered on as in my paladin (higher ilevel then this char) hasn’t done any mythic dungeons, only lfr and thanks to delves, WQs, crafted gear and the IMO silly “gear path system” I have an ilevel that is good for starting heroic raiding.

You already had mythic pieces covering those slots? Yeah not casual.

Also the more gears slots you “complete” of course diminishing returns is gonna kick in.

Because it’s not what you claim it is.

The Vault is a bonus roll. It’s not meant to be used as your main gearing path. And you get a socket out of it if you don’t get gear, which is also fantastic.

The other two tracks are true bonus rolls, as they offer the same item level choices as the pillars themselves, but dungeons specifically rely on the vault for myth track.

Granted, only running M+ is a choice.

I guess devs aim to fix that with the Voidforge, and ofc there’s always crafting.

The m+ Vault is too generous IMO it invalidates half the heroic bosses lol

More guilds have killed 5 mythic bosses than have killed lura cuz there’s no point

Yeah, I still feel like M+ gearing is the issue and not the Vault for that situation.

They should just go back to everyone getting a single chest to open weekly like it was in bfa etc.
Your post just proves how spoiled everyone is now with up to 9 potential slots.
