Vault rewards, does it count even if i dont choose yet?

I was thinking of waiting to choose my vault reward based on the gears i get from my heroic raid this week.

Does my kill count on heroic go towards next week’s vault even if i dont choose any of my reward for this week yet?

Me, I have different views on Loot upgrades. If I am on your shoes, I would need to be on best gear… get all the upgrades I could get before Heroic. If I dont perform at my very best, I might not be able to kill Bosses. Not having a loot on Raid becoz of poor performance is what I am trying to avoid.

I dont need to be best geared for heroic lol. Heroic raid is easy as it is and my group can down them quite easily.

We pushing for mythic in a few weeks thats why our goal atm is to be as geared as possible for that time and planning vault loots is part of the process.

Im glad they didnt change it from last expansion though vault works the same as last expac wherein its okay to not choose your loots and do your raids first to fully maximize your gearing

I had like 3 or 4 weeks worth of loot to gather at once in Shadowlands at one point on one of my toons cause I apparently forgot to loot the vault but kept doing LFR on her.

So I’m going to go with yes, it still counts. Lol.

(I have a terrible memory… I still have a M+2 Season 1 BFA Box I can loot on my Monk lmao)
