Vast amounts of new bots due to instance cap

I created a new character to play Priests for a change and the starting areas are SWAMPED with bots. I have seen over 100 now easily.

We all know the 30 instance cap does not negatively affect bots, but what if it positively affects Blizzard?

What if this change was done to increase the number of bot accounts, and thus subscriptions, for Blizzard?

EDIT: To clarify about bot subscriptions, there was a documentary interview done in 2010 with a guy who ran the largest gold farming marketplace (I won’t link, but its frontpage of Reedits classicwow). He stated there was hundreds of thousands of farmers getting gold, and they had often multiple accounts. We are talking half million if not more accounts.

What if there was a financial reason Blizzard does not immediately ban bots, and that reason is why they want more bots = more revenue?

Judging by the huge increase of leveling bots, it would seem this change was done to increase revenue at the player’s expense.

Go look at starting areas of your servers to confirm or deny. Would love your feedback.
