Vashj'ir access

How can I get to Vashj’ir on a DH? I can click on the other 4 Cata portals in Org, just not Vash. There’s no quest available from the warboard, and no pop-up quest.

Demon Hunters gave up the ability to swim along with their eyes.

Gotta do the intro quests for it.

For the horde, that means flip on trivial quests and go talk to whoever is running as the Warchief in Grommash hold. Should be a quest about going to the docks and then waiting for an eternity to meet up with Budd to go “SAAIIIILING!”

Look up " Warchief’s Command: Vashj’ir!" on wowhead and read a few comments down. Should get you there.

I could be wrong, but I think you need to do the intro quests.

Check the hero boards. There should be a call to arms - underwater nightmare zone. Quest.

I swear I’m the only person on the planet who liked Vashj’ir…

Thanks. This pointed me to an NPC near the docks. There was nothing within the city, or on any boards.

I like it for its uniqueness first time around by the third time I wanted to drown.

Helped me develop a healthy hatred of Naga though. Those snake elves always seem to appear out of no where.

Then that’s right. You should have about a 2 - 5 minute wait IIRC and get to listen to some grunts talking before the Mercenary boat pulls up to take you to Vashj’ir.

Yea, it seems they really buried those quests, and then sort of moved them as time went on. Really a pain.

I’ve always flew my way there from Easter Kingdoms.

Grab a portal to Blasted Lands or Undercity and fly there.

I remember doing this 6 months or so ago for Horde and it was quite buggy to get to Vash Jr. For Ally it just took ya to the destination, for the Horde you had to wait on some ship for like 5 min if you got it to work properly.

I actually love this zone as well!

Dont do it…
Not even in Mario those underwater places are fun.

I enjoyed it the first time but its replay value is limited. I know it’s a necro but if anyone’s wondering, you can just fly there from the Alliance coast. Unless you want to start the quest line then you need to pick up the intro quests.
