If you’re going to draw supernatural strength and rage from a wolf god, the least you can do is wear wolf-themed armor!

Lo’gosh is the orc name for Goldrinn which his followers are accompanied by and are able to turn into spirit wolves. 
…and someone else is very tied to spirit wolves that also has the same VA as Varian.

This is the same company that added Krag’wa 
shaman stuff to the Trading Post and the Krag’wa weapons were all wolf themed.
He was the wolf, why would he need to wear wolf as well
It’s going to make the interactions between Thrall and Anduin very engaging as people unknown to the VA will ponder why it feels fatherly.
Of course he was a thematic mess, he was from the WoW comic. We’re lucky he didn’t turn out like Anveena or shudder Me’dan.
Yes, because his armor was symbolic of his position as king, not of him personally. Plus the position of wolfaboo was taken by Greymane.
Varian was good enough to survive multiple forms of storytelling medium and still have a great cutscene and powerful send-off.
I haven’t really cared about any other character we’ve lost since him, although to be fair they only really shelved him and Saurfang. We haven’t permanently lost many other relevant good characters…

If you combine lion and bird you get wolf. A man named Chucky Darwin told me that and he knew a little more about animals than you.
I’d also like to point out that the armor probably is older than Varian, and certainly is older than Varian’s time as Logosh, which only happened well into his adult life.

No, he doesn’t voice Anduin, he voices Thrall and Varian. I’m at work, tired, had a brainfart, and thought the subject had shifted to a different cinematic. Josh Keaton voices Anduin IIRC.
Side note: Josh Keaton’s real name is Josh Wiener. I think I see why he chose a stage name.
