I absolutely loved classic, but I took a break and now leveling is empty again and it feels bad man.
I’m level 44+ ish on my hunter and I feel really low motivation to continue knowing that I’m so far behind I’m not gonna get to play molten core before TBC and I guess I messed up again but motivation is an issue with my illness.
There’s evidence that Blizz will release Classic servers that start from scratch on phase 1. You could also just look forward to the TBC servers when they come out. No need to despair!

Meh my problem is people seem to have so much bias and dislike towards having the classic wow overworld and it’s dungeons added to retail for chromie time. I have played classic wow, and it is fun. But retail moves so much faster. I mean, i don’t understand why we can’t have the best of both worlds.
Chromie time is a nice feature, but if you can’t level the way you want to, in other words, i wanted to level in retail via classic wow stuff, it is kind of a bum deal to me, and doesn’t fully showcase the full potential and capabilities of chromie time in my eyes. So i am hoping classic wow overworld and dungeons get added to chromie time some day.

I was actually really bummed about this, until I went to do cataclysm through chromie, and realized that it put me in classic stuff. So I think they combined classic and cataclysm together. I can que for all the classic dungeons and do the quests. So it’s in the game! Just under cataclysm. hope this helps! Maybe you’re in classic till you get flying? Not sure yet…

Look at the talent tree and abilities in classic. Now look at them in retail.

It literally doesn’t exist anymore. That all got purged by Blizzard of Old with the Cataclysm update. Classic wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for someone finding an old hard drive that still had it installed to use as reference.
Just add the old continents/quests and disable flying instead of trying to fix them for it.
No need for them to disable flying, just don’t if you don’t want to. Oh and don’t forgot to keep walking until lvl 18 or so, so you get the real experience.
