Vanilla Timewalking

With Classic around the corner it got me thinking how fun it would be to redo old school dungeons like Scholo, Sunken Temple, Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep and such on retail servers with our Monks, Demon Hunters, and DK’s and all. There’s a lot of transmog stuff that is extinct from those long lost incarnations of dungeons we used to love it would be nice to get in touch with them again.

I know that is something we’ll be able to do with classic, and I am planning on playing on one of the classic servers, but it would be great in my opinion to do it in retail as well. Even if it is once in a blue moon.

You have no idea how much salt would be in the air running dungeons that even in their shortened versions are twice as long as most other dungeons in the game.

Maybe, but I think that is also the appeal for a lot of people, I know it is for me. They are only one week long and completely optional, so I don’t think the salt would be that bad. Not compared to joy it would bring to the hearts of many.

People are losing their minds on how long The BC ones take right now, like, don’t get me wrong personally I would love doing classic TW, but the backlash from the garbage community would be endless.

After seeing the never ending flow of tears that BC timewalking caused last week, I can’t even imagine what people would do when they found out how long (and difficult) those dungeons were. People today think anything over 15 minutes is too long, they’d probably be curled up in the fetal position under their desks if they had to do a full BRD clear. :rofl::rofl:

That would be kind of fun.

Those people can do BC timewalking stuff too? So that is kind of the same deal. Did they balance at all? I’m asking because some of those sound kind of overpowered, for that old junk.

We had that already during WoW’s 10th anniversary. We got the core hound mount. So much noob wipeage, so much trolling. It was a blast!

The craziest thing about that 10th ann. MC event was trying to cleanse/decurse now that those abilities had CD’s and the original was tuned for not having a CD!!! was nuts! ;p but I got my Core Puppy, Double dog

I did my Wrath TWs last night and I still find the CD on cleanse to be annoying – I still have my muscle memory from when Wrath was current content and I get that error sound over and over again whenever I try to cleanse the whole party lol.

Actually I’m part of the garbage part of the community and I would loose my mind in the best way about Vanilla Timewalking.

Especially if we could do TW MC or BWL.

I figure the way to do them right would be to just scale your level to whatever level is appropiate for the dungeon at the time of Vanilla, so it couldn’t be like the others where its just one blanket level like 90 for Pandaria etc.
