Yah not much interest in really going back to a fresh start classic setting.
PVE wise, SOD has reached a great level of balance between the classes, they have also done pretty good with PVP.

If we do Classic Fresh enough times, literally everyone will be a warrior by the later iterations xD

It’s way too soon. This is the SoM release 2.0.

It wil. Its like you plus 5 other people who are interested in classic fresh. The timing is terrible and the it will carry the new ranking system which makes it so easy that none will want raid loot.

It’s been 5 years since a proper 2019 fresh. There has never been a better time
You still need to raid to get gear. R14 full set is only really full bis for warriors and no one else. They’re releasing the system in p2 so going into p3 you’ll have 14s. This is normal and standard
Lets see, soo far I’ve been right about everything that happened in classic.
Fresh should have a pretty good start as people fire up mains/alts, even SoD players. 6 months in SoD will be gone and Fresh will settle around 100K raiders. MoP wil fire up and get a couple 100K as well.
It’s the same player base jumping around from thing to thing. Blizzard is not doing anything to draw in new players to Classic so it will tend to be the same as it has been.
Including sod having gigantic population drop offs, and uncountable mistakes made by the dev team?
I think you’re kind of coping to think fresh is not going to be giant. I don’t understand this fixation on wanting fresh to die. It’s pretty selfish tbh
There are giant, long time running guilds and multi game guilds who are shutting down their new world guilds and other games just to drop on fresh.
Fresh classic is very hard to beat when it’s a standard fresh
I would guess that most people still playing SOD have minimal interest in re-rolling on a fresh server, playing vanilla classes. Blizz knows this, so the timing on releasing the fresh start the same day AQ comes out makes sense from a revenue/shareholder perspective.

For my guild we are maining SoD and alting Fresh. I feel a lot of folks will at least level in Fresh while its new. That’s the fun part before it turns back into not-fresh Vanilla.
TBC Fresh is really what has caught our attention.
Unfortunately they have demonstrated that SoD is their absolute lowest development priority and have provided nothing to the outlook except for the promise of a further fragmented player base
I disagree with this, we have already been here and done this too many times, the appeal is lost for many of us.

I can understand some people lose interest but the market remains
You’ll still be seeing people play fresh vanilla reruns 20 years from now. I don’t see this being any different than playing other older games. Older games are good. People still play brood war
