Came back a week ago and Eras still just as fun. Theres people lvling and doing dungeons at all levels. I ran Ulda a few times on my Hunter and got the Polearm and Gun and thats been some of the most fun I’ve had with a game in months. Vanilla just doesn’t get boring as long as there are enough people to play.

why is the update so long today?
Its all eye of the beholder stuff at the end of the day but I agree. Era still has plenty to offer in terms of old school fun for those that are into that kind of thing.

That’s whats cool about Vanilla. It plays like an old school RPG but has a depth that can go up against any modern RPG.

found it, Season of Discovery huge update. I wasnt playing on those realms so the time seemed excessive.

Yeah I try to explain to people all the time there is no “retail vs classic” debate to be had.
They are completely different games wrapped in the same game engine and world. One is akin to DnD and old school rpg adventuring. The other is a highly sophisticated competitive action game with some casual collecting elemets
These days I enjoy both, for very diff reasons
