Holy looking at footage, this game looks like it was released 10 years before WoW, and yet it was released at the same time as TBC.
No wonder it had 40k subs in its 2nd month of being live, down 200% from launch.
I actually wish I’d gotten to play Vanguard. I owned it, but my crappy Dell couldn’t play it, and from what people who did play it told me it sounded fun as hell.

I remember when Age of Conan came out in 2008 and that was going to be the game to end Wow.
Wow is too big to be replaced with someone who has fewer resources.

To be fair Vanguard wasn’t bad but it’s launch killed it. That game also had the best Necromancer class in any RPG/MMO i’ve played.

I was hooked on the blood mage. That was a lot of fun sacrificing health for damage and healing
