Yo blizzard, Valorstones just need to go. No point in having them other than fun detected. We already have to grind for the funky crest things you have going on, Valorstones are a pointless grind. Its like paying for something you bought with your hard earned money, and then the seller saying oh wait, you actually need 150 loaves of bread too, oops.
Not one good reason for them, just remove them in season 2 and remove the timer for mythic plus so everyone can celebrate. I used to love the timer but now with so many delve geared players, its frustrating. I wouldn’t even care if the dps were bad because without a timer we would still get decent rewards and rating, but thanks to the timer we don’t even have the option to be…happy about it when someone bad in the group holds you back.

I never needed Valorstones or crests for my PvP gear…looks like I chose the better part of the game to focus on…
Crests exist to push people to have their characters perform at the level of play that the character and player can (and are “supposed” to) play at. Valorstones exist as way to encourage people to merely play and engage with the game on any level.
So… yeah no. This take is nonsensical, and furthermore…

It is credibly odd to be realize you have enough crests to upgrade and get to the vendor only to realize ugh stones….
At least you can get them pretty quickly from the radiant event I think like 200-300 even solo
