Valorstone vendor

Should add a vendor for valorstone to buy cosmetics/warbound gear since we are always close to or at cap.

Only if you spam keys. Everyone else claims to constantly be out of them.

38 level 80 characters, 31 of them in item level 600 season 1 tier, 7 currently in 633-639 item level S2 gear. Iā€™m constantly valor stone capped on my main 7 characters weekly and usually have around 1000 on alts by season end. For me itā€™s a crest issue and never a VS issue, so having something to spend VS on would be nice.

For me bountiful tier 8s is about as high as I can go solo, tried grouping for first time in S2 and after a rough group where a guy made fun of my DPS even after I let be known I had two amputated fingers, I will go back to soloing in Delve content.

What nonsense. Whatā€™s your definition of ā€˜everyoneā€™? Most I know are either at cap or close to most of the time. Considering there are so many quests that only reward valor stones, a vendor for them would be nice.

Thatā€™s because some people upgrade everything they get, even if theyā€™re likely to get an upgrade later that week.

Same here. But you should still be getting Hero track from the Vault and your Bounty Map to upgrade, along with crafted. Plus upgrading the Champ gear.

Yep. Because then I earn them back. Why wait and then complain Iā€™m capped?

We usually get a Warbound M0 cache in the x.5 patch as a valorstone dump.

Speak for yourself. ā€œweā€ are not always close to or at cap.

But, on the whole I dont object to vendors who do cater to those who have an overabundance of any type of currency.

majority of players are capped. With how they just hand them out on everything now you should be close to cap

I bounce, one day I may be capped the next I may be starved. It all depends on just what I have to upgrade and how much. I am always farming, but I also have 40 other toons to mess with at the same time and I can say it varies from toon to toon on how well they are doing on Valorstones. Some seems to have a very hard time with them.

Iā€™ve been at cap or close just farming the scrap piles for Darkfuse rep. A lot of players are heavy farming the paragon boxes for the faction.

In S1 I did that where I upgraded Champion gear the first couple weeks and kicked myself because it was getting replaced depending on the RNG. Then I would only upgrade my Hero gear after that. The only time I upgrade my Champion gear now, is when I am trying to bring a PvP piece up to just below what I need to spend crests on.

Even if I upgrade all my gear, I will recap again shortly, as when S2 launched it took me not even a day to cap out 3 characters. I donā€™t do Mythic or Rated content at all and usually limit myself to no more than 4 Delves a week per character. Today I am trying as a specialization I normally donā€™t play anymore thanks to toxic players and while using tank Brann to solo to T11 so I can get the crests I need to upgrade my Hero gear that wasnā€™t available in S1.

I just upgrade all of it. I mean, why waste Valorstones sources by not acquiring them and sitting at cap? Thatā€™s how I feel about it. They replenish.

Now, granted, this all has nothing to do with the OP wanting a vendor. Iā€™m just giving a perspective on how to spend this stuff. I have zero issues with a vendor of some sort.

If anything, it would be nice to be able to transfer valor stones to alt characters. ATM after I finish my main 7 characters who regularly sit at cap and just do the content even after hitting cap, my lesser played characters could use more stones.

On average I play about 4 of them a week after I grind out my weekly content and generate around 150-200k gold across my characters a week just questing. Iā€™m currently now in the process of making my other 31 characters gear current season 2 minimum base of 626 max of 636. This opens up the cosmetic of LFR / Normal and my main 7 open up the Heroic and sometimes Mythic level of cosmetics.
