Valor reward amounts and groups

While I think the Valor system is a good change to the M+ gear problems, however the flat award of 135 valor of all difficulties has created a new problem. Getting into groups. As Havoc I cannot get into any groups period. Even +2’s . It takes at least 20 mins of queing for groups over and over to finally get accepted into anything.

I think the valor reward should be scaling with difficulty. Thoughts?

I imagine this will be a reset hotfix lower keys awarding smaller amounts. The idea behind it made sense getting us with higher ilvl to join lower groups to help succeed, blizz usually has always given some incentive to do this. But in this case it didn’t work out

In B4 make ur own group crowd

The next 2-3 weeks are going to be full of people blitzing low keys to get caught up to the 5000 valor cap, but after that they’re going back to the 14 keys and you’ll never see them again. 750 valor a week going forward is about six keys’ worth, and if people care enough to farm valor nonstop, they’ll care enough to do 10 higher keys for the Vault.

You should make your own group, otherwise keep sitting in the flood of dps all trying to fill the same spot.

I agree the Valor rewards should scale with difficulty but also the upgrade cost should scale with ilvl as well. The price of upgrading a piece of gear from a +2 shouldn’t cost the same as upgrading something from a +15

This would stop mythic raiders from spamming 2s to Valor cap by making it more rewarding for them to cap doing 15s.
And regular people could get back into the appropriate level keys.

Unfortunately it would cost a raid tier. And nobody actually cares about fixing m+ or it would drop the appropriate ilvl gear for the difficulty of the dungeon to start with.

Make your own group. 100% invite rate.

I thought it already worked this way. GUESS I KNOW WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND, WHO WANTS IN SOME GROOPS

Yea, Im ready for them :stuck_out_tongue: Did that from 2-10. Only 197 ilvl, so didn’t wanna waste peoples times going higher.

The initial cap of 5000 takes about 35-37 dungeons to fill, based on how many calling quests you complete. With the present rates, Blizzard might as well forego the cap increase!
