I guess it’s 99% certain that valor will reset once season 3 goes live, but is there any confirmation if the valor cap will be brought back or will it continued to be uncapped?
Yes, we’ll go back to a cap of 750 for week one, +750 each week.

Ridiculous. Yeah, it’s back. Pretty much means there is no purpose to run dungeons to beef up my power once I get 750.
When they lifted the valor cap, I was running dungeons all week and getting valor and upgrading gear and it was fantastic! I think that valor cap is a stupid system.
*If I’m 750/750 valor and I spend 750—I’m still capped at 750 as the max I can obtain which is just a lame system to me. Running M+ is primarily what I like to do to upgrade and get gear. My guild mostly raidlogs on raid night and only a few of us run dungeons outside of the raid.
Man, and they brought this system back. When they lifted the valor cap and got rid of conduit energy everything was JUST FINE. I realize the purpose is to put a power limit on myself but why? If I pay a subscription why on earth would I want a power limit?
I’ve mostly enjoyed shadowlands and have had little to no complaints about it. But here I am and my grievance is the valor cap. And on my alts that don’t get to raid with the guild, once I get to 750 there is literally no reason for me to play to get more gear/power, so I’m just done I guess. LAME. I like the valor system for upgrading gear, but putting a limit on it is just dumb to me.
i didn’t notice - were we compensated for leftover valor/conquest in gold/silver like we traditionally were? I don’t remember if they mail it to you, or send you a message or what…
We were NOT compensated. Just like last time. No explanation, no ingame mail.
Guess that isn’t a thing anymore. And the silence is deafening.
