On the day of reset which would have been Tuesday, June 4th, I was online at the time of reset. When the server reset happened, I immediately began to farm my valor for the week via Heroic Random Dungeons.
The bug I am posted about is your weekly valor cap not updating to 0/1600, and instead still showing you are capped for the week at 1600/1600. Not knowing that was the case, I completed several Heroic Dungeons, which should have rewarded 240 Valor Points each.
Because the cap did not reset properly, those dungeons did not reward valor. We are only allowed I believe 7 total random heroic dungeons every week, which is enough to cap our valor without raid bosses. And since I completed several before realizing my valor did not cap, the game still counted those toward my 7 completed weekly allowed.
Long story short, I am unable to cap valor this week now because of this bug, and it appears that there are a ton of other people in the same boat. I have opened tickets and gotten essentially no fix. I have been told that the problem is hotfixed, and they cannot award valor.
How am I supposed to cap valor for the week? Is there a way to allow me to complete a couple more heroic dungeons for the reward?
This is a terrible solution to my problem, because it doesn’t solve anything. Blizzard’s bug cost me 400 valor this week, and a piece of gear.
Please fix this instead of saying “oh well, we fixed the bug, we don’t care about how it affected you.”
