Valheim anyone here?

Would like to know how is this game

A good game. You will probably get bored after 100 hrs, but maybe that’s enough for an early access. Will check out more in the future.

It’s a bloody good jaunt through the viking afterlife. Well worth the price.

It’s just very well thought out. Not a system in sight.

And if you’re into the lore, it’ll send you into a nice little wikipedia-hole late at night post-play, reading up on all of it and it’s origins. Edutainment.

There is an off topic forum for questions like this, GD is for wow discussion not other games.

it’s different been in the forest forever. Way different than wow. The house building is quite fun.

I hear good things about it and that it’s better in multiplayer though you can do solo…hic!

The building and exploration factors are incredible. And it’s mind boggling that this is only early access; even what is available is worth the cost of the game, and there are still more updates planned to it.

If you’re a survival nut or you really like to build structures/explore, the game is for you. The fighting isn’t super exciting, but it’s good enough to keep it entertaining.

I would recommend playing with friends, though. Solo is all fine and good, but it’s a lot nicer with friends.

Tried it … built a raft and set sail out into the open water of unknown.

Fell off the side of the boat when I was wandering around it and a wave hit me up.

Fell into said water.

Drowned.

Logged out and haven’t really played since.

Overall, I give it a 7/10. Will play again when it’s released more content.

Booted it up last night with a few friends and built a tree house.

I’m a fan so far.

Let me break it to you OP

First part of the game can be pretty boring unless your playing with a friend; you’ll run around clueless and goalless for a little bit until you find your self and build a caddy shack which will take you way too long and you’ll be confused

After that you’ll start wondering out; you’ll get slammed by a troll or two, ganked by a boar and get annoying trying to kill deer

After you work out what the hell you are doing the world will open up to you

Then you’ll die every time you enter a new zone to various different things until you foam at the mouth

I’ve had some grand adventures so far, sailing the high seas with my mate

We currently have a dedicated server, he’s a builder irl and has built a whole town with my contribution being putting some lighting around the place and collecting all the wood but I make up for it by carrying the combat

Very very very fun game

It’s a good game. I spent a lot of time with it when it came out. Haven’t touched it much lately, but that’s typical for me and new video games.

It was definitely more fun playing with another person in my opinion. The combat is a little bit odd to me at times, with boss fights feeling a little off.

The crafting and building side though is pretty excellent. I felt so proud of building my first 2 story house, and then I feel ashamed seeing the insane things people build on twitter lmao.

Found out about the in game cheats (single player only) and couldn’t help giving myself all the best gear after telling myself I would only use them to build a neat base.

Kind of ruined it for myself but its a decent game.

It’s interesting, Blizzard has other forums but they aren’t as active as GD

It’s only in Early Access and that word is dangerous. Valheim is one of the only exceptions to the word Early Access. It’s worth it.

Yep. I’d say if you take the tasks seriously you have around 80-100 hours of total gameplay.

If you get held up with building and gathering, your game time will never end… Depends on the scale of your projects.

There are currently 5 bosses in the game. There will be 9 when it fully releases i think.

That’s 4 more tiers of unlockables that come with killing each of the bosses so the game should more than double in stuff to do by the time it comes out of Early Access.

Do you need to speak to the manager?

The classic forums hall way cop

Probably the same people who care what you think… no one.

Its a fun game and would definitely recommend, however once you beat the second boss in the swamps the game kind of gets really easy especially after you can make weapons with silver, while at the same time the final bio Plains is stupidly hard and almost impossible to solo legitimately

So fun game but you run out of content quickly. Thankfully the devs are working on adding a ton more content and i think the game is only going to get better

Being able to steer the boats across the sea and harpoon sea serpents to shore is one of the most relaxing game experiences i’ve ever had
