Dear Blizzard,
Please consider adjusting the rares for mounts to a lower time or 100% drop rate and higher spawn. On top of farming corruption, and other related activities to get ready for prepatch and SL, please please. Some rares are on hour or more and some 30 minutes. People have complained in chat in the area all the time.
I understand RNG and I understand mount farming. its what I do in raids, but those bosses are guaranteed and Im not complaining about that. Please consider & help out your gamers and give us some love and cohesion for OUR community! Please and TY!

waiting 30m to 1hr for mount rares is a bit overkill
Drastically extend respawn timers but make mount drop rates 100%.
Farming mounts on rare spawns for low % chances just feels bad.

I got all 7 of the Uldim and Vale rare spawn mounts, mostly using the group finder, with 4, and then later 5, characters. Some of the Rares take longer than others to spawn. Corpse Eater takes 10 minutes. Rotfeaster is half an hour. I think the rest might be an hour. I don’t think that’s good if the mount has a 1% chance to drop.

I agree Doness I feel Rotfeaster is 1 hr. Yesterday it felt 30 min. I dunno. Its definitely worth looking at and adjusting.
I don’t really mind the current timers only because once you kill the rare you can’t loot it until the next day. If you can make time to do all of your stuff in the respective zones, then you can also check the premade group finders regularly while doing your dailies for whatever rare you’re looking for. This will prevent you from just camping all day, and you’re still being productive. 
Mounts with a daily lockout are meant, I think, to be farmed with multiple characters. If you just use your alts for mount and gold farming, there usually isn’t a point to do the dailies on all your characters. You will end up having to camp and wait for a group to show up. It wasn’t the worst thing ever for me, though.

Not all Rare boss mounts are put in GF because they are easily killed and most people do not announce in chat. Moot point imo. What im finding is the only group in GF I have seen is sometimes Rajani Warserpent and mostly Ishak. I occassionally put in GF if Im feeling nice on the other rares: Houndlord Ren, Ahn-De, Rotfeaster, etc.
Well actually, in my experience I saw a lot of groups for everything except Corpse Eater and Rotfeaster. I could reliably farm all the Pandaria mounts on all my alts without having to wait too long for a group. I had to wait half an hour almost every time for Rotfeaster, but luckily it only took about 10 attempts.
Either they’re legitimately rare and always drop it, or they’re up all the time with a low drop rate.
You should never be camping something for half an hour for a 1% chance.

I agree. This is bad gameplay and poor system to put on rewards gamers love. We already have to farm gear and rng with corruption in 8.3. This is bad taste come on Blizz throw a bone on this heap of grindfest 8.3.
