When my BG is over and I phase back to Valdrakken, if I was near a guard when I accepted the queue they are aggressive to me and attack and kill me.

Just had them attack me on my Warlock as I exited a BG. At 70 they are easy enough to kill. However it is an annoying bug.

You remain in PvP combat for ~5 seconds after leaving combat. If you are ported back to a sanctuary city during that time, the guards will sense that you are in PvP combat and try to kill you.
This just happened to me. I mean, seriously? They need to fix this.

Very annoying, and now you get to run back and fork out gold for repairs.
Man blizzard sure is quick to fix those renown and cobalt assembly issues yet here we are with this bug and countless others that have been in the game since pre patch ptr…

Same happened to me twice in the last week. Guards beat me down.

Lmao just killed 178 guards and 32 NPCs before a GM triggered-death killed me for my max hp XD

Never had it happen until today… not its happening after every BG/Instance etc. They don’t lose aggro on my unless I leave the zone, which is a blast being that you are stuck in combat and can’t mount. How is this STILL an issue… blizzard… seriously…

This is still happening. I hate when this happens because my heart starts pounding and I get a headache because it is so unexpected. It was one of the reasons I quit the game a couple months ago. When my month of game time is up I am out again.
The bugs in this game are just too annoying for me. There were never glitches in the game as annoying as this one, and the guards attacking you out of the blue feels like someone trying to push you off the edge of a tenth storey window.
The solution is to never enter a BG when in town. I forgot a couple times. Qutting the game is a good solution too.

This is still happening, I honestly can’t figure out why the guards in Valdrakken can even attack. They don’t attack hostile NPC’s and the zone is a sanctuary, so pvp can’t happen here. So I feel like the easiest solution to this bug would be to just disable their ability to fight in the first place. The only time they ever attack anything anyway is when this happens
There is a tower in town close to the pvp quest guys, just out the entrance/exit kind of in front and off to the side. That is a good place to fly up to before entering bgs. Getting in the habit of flying up there solves the problem. GL to you.
Just happened to me.
Happened to me several times in the past few days during comp stomp, so fun getting repair bills because Blizz refuses to fix this bug.
Might as well file under Blizz doesn’t care along the the random being phased during a Superbloom event.
