Yea it was silly to change this AFTER people made their purchases. They should refund the tenders for it.

Anyone know if any of the TP items this month will be changed after the fact like this sword? Just want to be sure before spending non-refundable tenders.

You jest, but they are selling tenders for real money. And even if you don’t pay for them, they’re still capped at how many you can get, with this sword being a significant purchase.
I think they were right to scale the size down (it genuinely looked bugged, to my eyes), but they should refund the tenders to those who bought it. Unfair to ask for a limited/paid resource for something and then change it after the fact.
I guess we’ll see if blizzard plays the game. I was jesting, a refund would be fair enough.
If it’s a sword I’ve seen on there for the first time I was planning on buying it. I just won’t be bitterly disappointed if I don’t grab it. I’d rather save and buy a couple of classic reskins one day when I don’t have to bother with yet another trip backwards in time to obtain them.
Where? If you are referring too the Trading Post tenders in TWW expansion box that is a one time deal only…everyone whom buys the TWW expansion gets a certain amount depending which package they buy now…I see no place where I can actually go and outright buy Trading Post tenders with real money like in the game shop or Blizzard gear store …they are not there…so again where can I buy these Trading post tenders again?
They previously sold a “bundle” with a simple bracelet transmog, and a decent amount of tenders. I haven’t seen it return, so perhaps they’ve abandoned that idea.
Regardless, it’s still a finite resource, and I think they should refund those who purchased it when it was significantly larger.

I really like some of the weapon transmogs this month, but would like to avoid getting burned again. Are there any assurances that items purchased with Tenders won’t be charged after the fact, or at least allow for refunds if they are changed?

Revert the sword.
Create a separate version with the wrap from the Blademaster Stones, so that female, or male, characters can use the wrap if they wish.

OMFG I JUST FOUND THIS OUT!
I bought the damn thing because it was 'YUUUUUUUUGE! and now its a 1 hander sized… FML. They ruined one of my top 3 Tmog set rotations Sigh…

Its more the size of a letter opener now…damn sad they did this too the ones that brought it with trader tenders…many wouldn’t have brought it if it was size its now …so many players are out that many tenders they could of saved for other things.
