Hey guys! Does anyone know of any vacant houses that can be used as an rp home for a character? Something like the house on lordamere lake.

I remember a few in Westfall but I haven’t been there in literal years. And there was one in Elwynn but I think it got turned to a place where a quest mob is located.

Where abouts are you looking? Any specific continent? Or just anywhere? Jade Forest is littered with really cool empty houses, for example, but not sure if you want to be in Pandaria.

Any continent is fine, I just prefer the zone to be pretty. Not dreary like silver pine forest and dusk wood and not ugly like Searing gorge,silithus etc. :slight_smile: my friend I rp with uses the house on on loardamere lake and if he wasn’t already using it then it’s what I would use. Nesteked in pretty green grass, fireplace ,chairs to sit in,beds upstairs,no mobs and a dock with a boat .

Have you looked in Gilnaes? It’s a huge npc empty place with lots of small cozy houses like that in the different villages. Also depends on which server you are on, as lots of those really nice places are usually grabbed up quickly.

There is a house near the border between Eversong Woods and Ghostlands.

There’s Tyr’s Hand in EPL which is more like a small town. No houses, but it has an Abbey, a church, a garrison, a blacksmith shop, and is patrolled by a few Argent Crusade friendly NPCs. Each building is free of NPCs (with the exception of a rare spawn inside the Abbey) and have plenty of usable chairs and the place isn’t in ruins at all. Another nice town is Hearthglen in WPL. It’s also inhabited by the Argent Crusade and has all of the above buildings plus a large house with all the amenities which has no NPCs inside, a mine, a town hall, a mage tower filled with chairs with only an NPC guarding the entryway, a lumber mill, two guard towers, and a stable. If you’re looking for a town vibe, either of these will work.

There’s also that dwarf house on the coast of Arathi Highlands. It’s a small coastal farm with a dock, a stable, and a cozy little dwarf bunker.

There are probably a lot more, but these are the few I remember in detail.

Hyjal and Durneholde Keep instances have some empty houses with nice surroundings, and aren’t susceptible to interruption from griefers or others wanting to use the site. Clearing the instance doesn’t take much time either. The drawbacks are that instances require a minimum level for character entry, and dungeon instances can only accommodate five people maximum.

Can you be a bit more specific about desired location as there are many choice properties available for the discerning customer?

I’m looking for something preferably in the eastern kingdom or Kalimdor. Somewhere pretty,not like burning steppes or silithus etc. by water. If there’s places like this in northerners or Pandaria then I’m fine with that too

There’s a little farmhouse in southern Westfall–really nice place. Comes with a small apple orchard and a gorgeous stretch of mob-free Stranglethorn beach is practically your backyard.

If you don’t mind thinking out of the box with housing, you can go to un-instanced Eye of Ashara off the coast of Broken Isles. There are several ships that you can go into on the cliffs and it is very peaceful. I have rarely if ever seen anyone there.
