So, I have the blueprints for both of these items, I have all the mats required, I was exalted with Rustbolt Resistance, still couldn’t make them. Searched wowhead, they said you need the insignia from the first extra rep box. So I grind 10,000 more mechagon rep, get the insignia, get the quest to turn it in, do that, and STILL can’t make them. What am I, Tantalus???!!!
So nobody knows how to actually be able to make these pets? I guess I really AM Tantalus :-/
You don’t need the insignia to make the pets.
I think that you are looking at a locked tinker in Pascal. Perhaps you haven’t completed the quest to upload the tinker or maybe you learned it on an alt.
If this is not the case then you may have encountered a bug and you should try putting in a ticket.
My Mechanoclaw is still locked, but i have the XD unlocked. I logged in to see if I was able to create it or if I would have problems as well. I could create it just fine. So perhaps you do have a bug 
I picked up the Mechanoclaw yesterday and was able to make it without having to do anything except gather some mats I was missing.
You might want to put in a ticket.
youre also lucky. i have 2 paragons and no microbot, but literally everyone else in my guild who paragon’d got the microbot first time. 10+ people got it, im the exception, and made them all go “huh, guess it isnt a guarantee. weird”
Well, the only mechagon quest I have not finished, on this character, is to kill king mechagon…I have gotten exalted and turned in my first paragon chest…apparently I need to put in a ticket :-/
I got the microbot blueprint from a rare, while completing the “Rest in Pistons” achievement…I was only revered at the time it dropped, didn’t realize how lucky THAT was until your comment and when I looked it up on wowhead. RNG usually hates me…I guess it let me have the blueprint, but won’t let me actually make it…MUAHAHAHA very funny RNG lol
